Today was supposed to be a day full of working, and all I've done is sit in front of my MacBook and watch Grey's Anatomy, The Fades, The Big Bang Theory and The Great British Bake Off. Ugh.

So, I will work. I will do some more work. If I don't, I'll panic tomorrow. In one hour I will report back with the work I have done. Right now it's 21.12 (spooky) so at 22.12 I will come back and explain what I have been doing.

Right, so I'm back almost two hours later, but I am pleased with my progress - I've managed to complete topic four of unit one. I studied Concept Schemes, and delved into Kant, Chomsky, Sapir & Whorf, more Hume, and more Descartes. So far my favourites are Kant & Chomsky.
In this time I also managed to find a template online for some lined paper and a Cornell notes template too so I can organise my revision a bit better, rather than throwing every note onto the page with the printed text on and getting myself confused over previous notes where I may not fully understand the ideas and new fresh and (hopefully) comprehensible notes. I printed the lined paper out because I absolutely hate the paper used in those refill note pads, it's thinner than tissue paper and the texture of it makes me frustrated, so printing my lined paper on lovely, thick quality paper felt very satisfying. I could also chose the number of lines per inch, which made me super happy. I made the lines closer together than those on regular note book paper, and I printed it in a pleasing medium grey colour. Yes, stationary excites me, especially when it's stationary for philosophy notes.

I tend to waste time quite a lot. I'm not sure if it's procrastinating exactly, I'm not deliberately avoiding something, I'm just doing something else and when I glance at the time I realise I could be doing something far more... not productive, but something better. Something I can use when telling someone about my day, rather than feeling like I have to embellish what I've already done for the day to make it look less like I'm being lazy.

I'm doing it right now.
